ANIMA MUNDI, THIENE ITALY
Miguel Amortegui presents Voices of the Jungle as part of Anima Mundi, an international contemporary art exhibition that crosses borders and brings together voices from around the world.
Curated and produced by Dadaprojects, Anima Mundi returns with its most ambitious edition to date, expanding its artistic vision and embracing a wider, more inclusive dialogue.
Voices of the Jungle — Miguel Amortegui
A central work of the exhibition
In Voices of the Jungle, Miguel Amortegui presents a powerful and intimate narrative of refugee lives. Through photography and storytelling, the work offers a deeply human perspective on displacement, resilience, and dignity.
The project draws from long-term engagement with displaced communities, allowing those voices to be seen and felt beyond statistics or headlines.
The photographic work adds a further layer of emotional and visual depth, strengthening the impact of the exhibition and inviting the viewer into lived realities often kept at the margins.
Anima Mundi invites audiences to Thiene for an exhibition that celebrates diversity, connection, and the shared responsibility of telling human stories across borders.
A global collaboration
The exhibition brings together 25 artists working across 11 different artistic disciplines, creating a rich and diverse cultural exchange. This international collaboration is made possible through partnerships with Fondazione Villa Fabrisand Fenster Laboratori, with the generous support of the Municipality of Thiene.
Maria Gabriella Strinati, Councillor for Culture, has expressed her enthusiasm for hosting Dadaprojects in Thiene, highlighting the international nature of the initiative and its positive impact on the local community.
Anima Mundi goes beyond exhibition. It actively contributes to the enhancement of local heritage, with a strong focus on engaging young people through creative experiences that encourage cultural awareness and personal growth.
The exhibition explores themes that connect us all: social awareness, ecology, and the complex relationship between human beings and the environment. Anima Mundi becomes a space for reflection, dialogue, and international cultural exchange.
