VISUAL STORYTELLING FOR NGO’S

.

Collaborative Projects

Collaboration sits at the centre of my visual storytelling practice. I work closely with NGOs, social organisations, and community-led initiatives to co-create powerful, ethical narratives that communicate real impact and support meaningful change. Rather than arriving with a fixed story, I take the time to understand your mission, your context, and the people at the heart of your work, ensuring that every project is built on trust, respect, and shared purpose.

I support organisations in translating complex realities into clear, engaging visual stories through photography, film, and written narrative. These projects are designed to strengthen advocacy, support fundraising, engage donors and partners, and communicate your work with honesty and credibility. From field-based documentation to campaign-driven storytelling, I help organisations create content that resonates emotionally while remaining grounded in lived experience.

My collaborative approach often includes participatory photography and storytelling, allowing communities to actively shape how their stories are told. This not only leads to more authentic outcomes, but also empowers participants and avoids extractive or tokenistic representation. Where participatory methods are not required, I still work with the same ethical framework, ensuring dignity, consent, and context are always prioritised.

With over 15 years of experience working internationally in humanitarian, social, and advocacy-driven projects, I bring both creative skill and practical understanding of NGO environments. I am comfortable working in sensitive settings, under time pressure, and across cultures, while delivering professional, high-quality visual material suitable for reports, campaigns, exhibitions, digital platforms, and public engagement.

Each collaboration is tailored to your organisation’s needs, from short-term assignments to long-term partnerships. My role can include concept development, field production, editing, narrative shaping, and guidance on how the work is shared and used.

If you are looking for a visual storyteller who understands the responsibility that comes with representing people’s lives, and who can deliver impactful, trustworthy content, I would welcome the opportunity to collaborate and help bring your mission to life.
